Every Third Saturday

It's a local Coffee & Cars Show at the Elks Lodge — San Pedro (Lodge 966, 1748 Cumbre Drive, San Pedro, California | www.sanpedroelks.org), running from 9:00AM ~ 11:00AM, yes, Every Third Saturday of the month.

As usual, ShelbyGuy was the EarlyGuy for the show. We attended on Saturday, January 17th, 2026 for the first car show of the New Year (the first Saturday Palos Verdes Cars & Coffee Show was canceled early because of forecasted rain...and it REALLY did rain!)

On the contrary, January 17th started off balmy in the upper 60s (yeah, really, it's January in California!), headed for the low 80s. For those in other parts of the country, today's windchill will likely peak at 85!

Other early arrivals included a '55 Ford Sunliner, a '57 Chevy, and a Morris Minor pickup.

Because the weather was so spectacular, the turnout for the show was equally excellent as was the variety of the cars...a 396 Chevelle Convertible...
